Escala Secures $12M To Empower Hispanic SMBs With Cutting-Edge CRM Solutions

Andres Moreno

Escala, a CRM platform for Hispanic small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has raised $12 million in its latest funding round.

This milestone, led by IGNIA and Alaya Capital, marks a step in the company’s mission to empower Hispanic businesses in the United States and Latin America.

High Alpha and other investors also participated in the round.

Revolutionizing SMB Marketing and Sales

Founded by renowned tech entrepreneur Andrés Moreno, also the founder of Open English, Escala offers a marketing and sales platform.

The platform addresses critical challenges faced by Hispanic SMBs in adopting digital tools for growth.

The platform integrates tools such as WhatsApp, AI, and email marketing to streamline and optimize customer acquisition and retention.

According to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), only 20% of SMBs in Latin America utilize digital marketing tools, a gap that Escala aims to bridge.

The platform simplifies the adoption of proven technologies, helping businesses enhance their operational efficiency and sales performance.

Enhancing Features and Expanding Reach

The $12 million investment will be used to enhance Escala’s features, including advanced WhatsApp integration and AI capabilities.

It will also support the expansion of its team dedicated to improving client outcomes.

“This investment will allow us to continue driving innovation to meet the growing needs of businesses in the region,” said Alfonso Santiago, CEO of Escala, who recently joined after serving as the global COO of Open English.

A Strategic Partner for Growth

Escala’s mission is to be a strategic partner for SMBs, providing them with the tools and support necessary for sustainable growth.

The platform offers affordable, easy-to-use solutions complemented by personalized support from Customer Success Managers.

Businesses using Escala have reported impressive results, including doubling their revenue, generating 300% more leads, and increasing operational efficiency by 70% within six months.

With this new funding, Escala is set to expand its impact, driving the digital transformation of Hispanic SMBs and helping them thrive in a competitive market.
