Meet The Black and Latinx People On Forbes’ Most Influential CMOs List 2022

Forbes has released the world’s most influential CMOs list to recognize some of the most powerful changemakers in the marketing industry. 

According to Forbes, the platform conducted a data-driven analysis to select this year’s finalists. Research insight provided by Sprinklr, and supplemental data supplied by LinkedIn, helped Forbes narrow down 50 pioneers that are actively spearheading brands and communities in the marketing sector. 

The people in the list represent companies with over 8 million employees globally and have acquired over $5 trillion in market capitalization. 

So, let’s meet some of the world’s most influential CMOs. 

Dara Treseder  

Dara Treseder

Dara Treseder is a business leader with expertise in building and leading high-performing global marketing, communications, and commercial. As the Global Head of Marketing, Communications & Membership at Pelton, the world’s most extensive interactive fitness program, Tresder has managed some of the brand’s most strategic marketing movies, insights, and communications. Tresder and her team also led the brand’s evolution “beyond the bike,” helping it become a connected entertainment brand and platform. 

Fernando Machado

Fernando Machado

Fernando Machado is the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Burger King. Since joining the role in April 2021, Machado has developed a reputation for pushing creative boundaries to drive business growth. By infusing the brand and modernizing its design, he has helped inspire the organization to build to focus primarily on its brand development. 

Frank Cooper III 

Frank Cooper III is a business executive and current Chief Marketing Officer at BlackRock. Since May, Cooper has worked to influence driving change and growth at both scaled businesses and startups. A crucial part of Cooper’s work in his new role is to lead the firm’s global marketing organization by increasing the brand’s purpose-driven expression and activation. 

Kevin Warren 

Kevin Warren

Kevin Warren is the Chief Marketing Officer at UPS. Since joining the company in 2018, Warren has helped shift the logistics company’s strategic focus by launching digital platforms. In addition, through unconventional approaches such as; dropping a song on TikTok with J Balvin, donating funds to Black-owned fashion lines, and relaxing uniform rules around natural hair and tattoos, Warren has made the company a more hospitable place for drivers.
