Keke Palmer Becomes The Host Of Meta’s New Metaverse Series

Is there anything Keke can’t do?

Actress and entertainer, Keke Palmer, has officially become the host of Meta’s ‘Are We There Yet?’, a digital series that focuses on shining a light on the developments currently taking place within the Metaverse.

According to the outlet, the new series will see the entertainer sit down with creators, educators, and experts “to find out where the metaverse stands now and what’s coming in the future.” In addition, this video series will showcase how the Metaverse can help “bring people together like never before.”

The series debuted its first episode on Tuesday. The episode saw the vice president of the Metaverse, Vishal Shah and Keke Palmer take users on a virtual ride through the Metaverse to showcase some of the platform’s newest technologies.

From virtual comedy clubs to karaoke bars, users can experience the new stage of the internet, which allows users to create their own virtual experiences and places within the Metaverse.

“I think the simplest way of thinking about it is, the metaverse is the next phase of the internet,” said Shah, Vice President of the Metaverse.

“And the main difference between the internet we use today and the next phase is that we can feel like we are there with other people in a way we can’t feel in our digital experiences today. We are going to see things around us and touch things with our hands.”

Before the debut of this new series, Khaby Lame recently shared a video of himself and Keke Palmer exploring the possibilities of virtual reality with Meta. The pair will work alongside the tech giant to raise awareness of the changes within the Metaverse.
