TikTok Food Critic Keith Lee Partners with Microsoft to Give Black Owned Restaurants Software and Marketing

Keith Lee

Food critic and TikToker Keith Lee, also known as “The People’s Champ,” has partnered with Microsoft to amplify Black restaurants further.

Lee’s viral food reviews continue to highlight Black and African-American-owned restaurants, and he uses his platform to connect with worldwide food lovers.

Striving to place community at the center of his partnership, he is teaming up with Microsoft to help restaurants future proof their businesses with their AI-powered tool Copilot.

Lee Partners With Microsoft

Lee has partnered with Microsoft to provide restaurateurs with AI tools to help their businesses thrive.

“I see the people behind these restaurants. I don’t just see a business. That is why it was so important for me to partner with Microsoft to give them the tools they need to continue to make an impact in their community,” Lee told Afrotech.

“AI isn’t something I knew loads about, but that’s exactly why I wanted to partner with Microsoft as I understand the power AI can have on small businesses, from streamlining processes, making things more efficient and saving businesses time.”

The duo has launched “The Reheat,” a video series highlighting Microsoft support for Black and African American businesses.

They kick off the series with Lee to spotlight three restaurants that have skyrocketed after Keith’s viral reviews.

Lee and Microsoft’s Senior Product Marketing Manager Anthony Kerr will then show Black restaurateurs live demos using Microsoft AI tools and solutions to manage and expand their businesses.

“AI offers tools and solutions that help automate time consuming tasks, provide insights through data analysis or enhance decision making processes,” Kerr said.

“So, by integrating AI into their operations, they can streamline their processes and focus on growing their businesses. Every minute counts for Black-owned businesses, small businesses, so finding ways to make the most of their time is critical to their success and we believe AI can do that.”
