The Tech Podcasts Every Black Founder Needs To Listen To

So – apart from our pretty awesome podcast – Techish – that gives you the rundown on all things tech, business and money with a hint of culture news – there are plenty of other podcasts for Black tech entrepreneurs.

People of color lack representation in tech yet these podcasts may help unlock some doors.

Here’s a breakdown of the podcasts you should probably check out whether you’re interested in learning more about what makes a good pitch deck, if bootstrapping is the way for you or you just want to find some inpsiration.

In Good Company

I highly recommend this podcast. Bestselling author Otegha Uwagba sits down with incredible Black trailblazers who’re dominating the startup industry from the likes of Sharmadean Raid, founder of BeautyStack, to Liv Little, digital media CEO of Galdem.

It’s unlike most podcasts and actually gets to the bottom of what we want to hear. She asks hard questions on investing, pitch decks, dominating saturated industries, and more.

You basically feel like you’re learning something new with each episode.

The Coding Black Females

The Coding Black Females podcast is a space for Black women in tech to share their journeys and inspirations stories. Some of the episodes include ‘ Life as a Developer’, ‘Meet A Coding Black Female – Lydia Mangeni Stewart’ and ‘Finding the right mentor’.

A similar and equally good podcast is the Women Tech Charge podcasts hosted by Dr. Anne-Marie Imafidon, the CEO of stemettes.org, the series looks at the incredible women revolutionizing our lives through technology.
