STEM Enthusiast, 12, Becomes The Youngest CEO With A Toy Line At Target

Zoe Oli

Beautiful Curly Me, an Atlanta-based toy, media and STEM company founded by 12-year-old Zoe Oli, is expanding with the launch of a new line of plush dolls in Target stores nationwide.

This expansion makes Zoe the youngest CEO to introduce a toy brand at Target.

The new line, called The Curly and Confident Crew, features unique dolls with natural curly hair that can be styled.

Promoting STEM and Empowerment

In addition to their design, the Curly and Confident Crew dolls comes with a message that encourages girls to explore their interests, whether in entrepreneurship, dance, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Oli, a 7th grader with a passion for STEM, art, music, and reading, aims to inspire young girls to pursue their dreams and interests.

Her dedication to giving back is evident through Beautiful Curly Me’s pledge to donate a doll to an underserved girl for every doll purchased on their website.

A Movement with Heart

Oli’’s journey began at the age of six when she noticed a lack of dolls that reflected her own beautiful curls and braids.

With the support of her mother, Evana, she founded Beautiful Curly Me to fill this gap and help young girls feel represented and confident.

The brand’s impact has been significant, with Oli featured on platforms such as Good Morning America, Forbes, and Black Enterprise.

She is also the youngest Black TEDx speaker and a finalist for Time and Nickelodeon Kid of the Year.
