Tennis star Coco Gauff is building on her partnership with UPS by teaming up with entrepreneur Emma Grede to advise small-business owners. Gauff became a UPS brand partner in 2023.

The new campaign, titled “Unlocking Potential,” leads with Grede mentoring three upcoming entrepreneurs — Classy Casita, Petrova Chocolates, and Anima Iris.

The campaign, created by The Martin Agency, begins with an anime-inspired spot featuring the 20-year-old phenom announcing her collaboration with Grede. Then, Grede will meet with the entrepreneurs to offer advice and mentorship. Snippets of these sessions will be featured as part of the campaign’s content, which will be released throughout Gauff’s tennis season.

The three companies featured in this campaign are Classy Casita, a home and lifestyle brand selling a selection of artisan-crafted home goods and plant care products. Petrova Chocolates, a woman-led business selling hand-crafted chocolates, and Anima Iris, a Black-owned handbag brand inspired by African art and paintings.

Guaff as a businesswoman

In April, Gauff launched Coco Gauff Enterprises in partnership with William Morris Endeavor (WME) and shared that she had closely listened to Grede’s advice on the UPS campaign’s three entrepreneurs.

“I learned a lot about working in bigger organizations and marketing, which is what she’s really good at, especially with Skims. I have her contact [info] for the future, and definitely want to dive more in depth with her,” Guaff said, according to Fast Company.

She has worked with an extensive list of brands, including Rolex, Bose, Head, Barilla, Carol’s Daughter, and Naked Juice.
