With over a decade of experience as a founder and operator and a background in computer engineering, Gerald is no stranger to the tech world.

His journey has seen him navigate the challenges of startup environments and underscore the value of community support for operators. 

Beyond his professional realm, Gerald is invested in mentorship, education, and service, driven by a belief in technology’s impact on communities.

Gerald’s appointment comes following his impactful tenure as the Community Manager of Black Ops, a role that has prepared him to lead the organization’s ambitious new chapter.

It aims to bridge the gap between emerging and seasoned operators, offering a nurturing ground for entry and mid-level professionals. 

Under Gerald’s stewardship, Catalyst will operate as a collaborative platform, fostering learning, resource-sharing, and networking to develop emerging operators.
