Romeo Miller And Richard Patterson Launch Green Automotive Tech Venture

Rapper and entertainer turned entrepreneur Romeo Miller, has announced his partnership with Richard Patterson, the first Black person to own and operate an exotic car manufacturing company in the United States, Trion SuperCars.

Their new venture, Trion and Shango, according to AfroTech, aims to make the tech and automotive landscape greener.

“We aim to create a world where cutting-edge innovations harmonize with environmental consciousness, positively impacting our planet for generations to come,” said Miller, formerly known as Lil’ Romeo.

Reports have recently found that Big Tech companies can also be significant contributors to emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, with Samsung having the most effective carbon footprint of any major company in tech.

What are Trion and Shango?

Trion and Shango have been described as an automotive and tech powerhouse committed to a greener future.

In an Instagram post, Miller stated that the company has already managed to secure $10 billion in funding which will be used to develop self-sufficient energy homes and electric vehicles.

They additionally have another innovative approach in the works which includes the use of removable polymer batteries have been composed to redefine the automotive space through eco-friendly solutions.

“The inclusion of Romeo Miller in this venture underscores our shared values and determination to effect real change in the tech and automotive landscape,” Patterson said in the news release to AfroTech.

“Together, Trion and Shango aim to create a world that is 100% green, one sustainable initiative at a time.”

Patterson’s Input

Miller also has made a substantial investment in the enterprise headed by the automotive extraordinaire.

He took to Instagram, revealing his plans as he remembers meeting Richard Patterson, a man with one of the highest IQs, but dressed and talked just like him.

“A man who revolutionized the automotive world, and also one of only four automotive engineers in the world that can build a car from vehicle schematics to finished production,” he said.

Patterson is credited for shattering the glass ceiling in the modern car manufacturing market, with his claim to fame designing the Model S from the idea stage as an engineer at Tesla.

He then turned a lifelong goal into reality in May 2012 after 37 years in the industry when he assembled a core team of professionals and created the Trion Company.

“Richard Patterson is the genius and innovator they didn’t want you to know about, and I’m here to change that! Remember the name. Google the name. Richard Patterson is Black history!”
