A new report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics found 4.3 million Americans quit their jobs in December alone. But the latest numbers also revealed that Latinas are exiting the workforce at higher rates than any other demographic, which economists are really concerned about. Coalition to Back Black Businesses, co-founded by the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation, American Express, and four leading national Black business organizations – announced the 491 Black-owned small businesses that have been awarded funding. Microsoft has finally shared an update on promoting racial equity in the US by investing in and working with Black and African American-led financial institutions, suppliers, and partners. It reports that it has reached its goal of committing $100 million to mission-driven banks, which provide capital to diverse communities.
