The Burns Brothers Launch Africa’s First African American-Owned Private Club

The Burns Brothers

The Burns Brothers are making history with Africa’s first-ever African-American-owned private membership club.

Their visionary enterprise, HQ, initially launched in Washington, DC, is now expanding to Nairobi, Kenya, setting a new precedent in the global business sphere.

This expansion marks a significant milestone, as it is the first instance of a private membership club on the African continent owned by African Americans.

“Africa’s burgeoning status as a global economic powerhouse, its projection to account for one-quarter of the world’s population by 2050, and Kenya’s emergence as a promising economic epicenter underscore our decision to spotlight Kenya in HQ’s expansion,” said co-founder John Burns.

HQ In Nairobi

HQ, founded by The Burns Brothers, is known for fusing networking opportunities, personal and professional development programs, and culturally enriching events.

It has rapidly become a hub for creativity and collaboration, attracting prominent figures such as Maryland Governor Wes Moore, filmmaker Ava DuVernay, and others.

Establishing HQ in Nairobi is strategic, considering Africa’s growing global economic influence and Kenya’s promising economic potential.

This move by The Burns Brothers is not just a business expansion; it’s a culturally and historically significant step.

It represents a triumph for The Burns Brothers and is a beacon of hope and inspiration for the African American community.

Their success in cultivating inclusive growth spaces has positioned them as leaders in redefining the landscape of business and culture worldwide.

The Burns Brothers’ journey from Washington, DC, to Nairobi embodies their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to fostering global connections.

Their initiative is poised to reshape how business and culture interact internationally, underscoring the importance of inclusivity and diversity in the global business arena.
