Live Entertainment Platform Launches Culture Investment Program To Support African Talent

Afronation

London-based live entertainment platform for African music and talent, The Malachite Group (TMG), has launched its Culture Investment Program in partnership with Republic Europe. Investors and supporters can now share in the platform’s ownership.

TMG’s portfolio includes Afro Nation and Piano People, both of which have sold tickets in several countries. The company has become one of the fastest-growing festival-led social media brands globally and co-launched the official Afrobeats Charts with the BBC in the UK and Billboard in the US, cementing its role in shaping the global narrative around African music.

The Culture Investment program

The program includes five core elements that will allow TMG to launch new experiences, expand their events across Africa and other key global markets, find and create the next generation of African and diaspora talent, tour European and American talent across Africa, maintain and build their team, and expand the platform globally.

TMG is backed by Helios Sports & Entertainment Group, bringing together market leadership, institutional capital, and global partnerships to drive long-term commercial and creative growth.

TMG expanding in Africa

In 2026, TMG will launch a global talent management division representing African and diaspora artists across various creative verticals – positioning African talent at the center of the fast-growing global entertainment and sports economies.

Additionally, TMG will grow its event calendar, allowing the company to enter new markets across Africa and the Americas. TMG recognizes Africa’s potential as it is the world’s youngest and fastest-growing continent, with 40% of the world’s under-18 population projected to be African by 2030 and 1 in 4 people globally expected to be African by 2050.
