Live Nation Urban Has Launched A Black Creator Network

Live Nation Urban has launched the Live Nation Urban Creator Network in partnership with Breakr, a creator marketing and payments platform. The national network will be powered by a tailored collective of thousands of top Black creators and backed by Breakr’s broader database of 75,000+ creators and 55 million data points.
Live Nation will be able to provide brands with an innovative media channel that is culturally relevant and instantly scalable.
“As brands increasingly looked to us to help them connect authentically with Black audiences, even outside the context of our events, it became clear there was an opportunity to create something larger,” Live Nation Urban President Shawn Gee said in a press release.
“With the Live Nation Urban Creator Network, we’re building the largest network of Black creators in the industry—powered by our platform, driven by culture.”
Live Nation Creative Network
The creative network will expand Live Nation’s business beyond festival grounds. Breakr’s embedded technology, real-time payments, and campaign automation will enable Live Nation Urban to provide brands with a plug-and-play creator infrastructure that can be utilized across any cultural time frame.
The network will also offer creators opportunities such as exclusive access to high-value campaigns, VIP entry to top festivals, and collaboration opportunities with brands like Hulu, STARZ, and BET. As creators often wait for long periods to receive payment, it will also guarantee payment within 48 hours of campaign delivery via BreakrPayâ„¢.
“Today, we’re opening the doors to an exclusive creator network—pairing brands with unrivaled cultural capital and turning influence into record-breaking results,” Live Nation Urban’s Vice President of Marketing Malcolm Gray said.
Live Nation’s investment in Breakr
In February, Live Nation Urban announced its investment in Breakr, a leading marketing and technology platform. Breakr. Breakr is the focal point for music, creators, and technology. It allows music labels, creative agencies, and brands to quickly pay and contract independent online content creators to promote songs and services.
The investment came from the Black Lily Capital Fund, a new venture fund created by Live Nation and Live Nation Urban to support early-stage music companies founded by Black entrepreneurs.
