She was selected for the CS Educator Fellowship in Flatiron School where she was trained to teach programming to high school students who were able to build web apps. She is also creating and piloting the first Computer Science curriculum in her school, Excellence Girls Middle Academy. Prior to the charter school, she was a corp member through Teach For America. Her mission is for all children to be empowered through coding.
