TikTok Star Khaby Lame Partners with Binance To Drive Crypto Awareness

Cryptocurrency platform Binance has joined forces with TikTok star Khaby Lame for the launch of their new NFT series.

The influencer, who will join the team as a brand ambassador, will use his signature moves to debunk myths surrounding crypto and the blockchain space.

The partnership will see Lame create content that helps clear up any misconceptions people may have around Web3 and cryptocurrencies. As a result, fans will not only be able to purchase exclusive Khaby Lame NFT collections, but they will also have access to educational resources to help them learn everything they need about the digital marketplace.

As the most followed TikToker in the world, with over 2 billion likes, Khaby Lame has built a cult-like following on the video-sharing app without saying a word. His viral videos have earned him over 142 million followers from all corners of the globe, with his signature pose being the most recognized gesture on the app.

“I’ve been curious about Web3 for some time and jumped at the chance to partner with a leader like Binance,” said Khaby Lame.

“It aligns perfectly with what I usually do: make complex stuff easy and fun for everyone. I consider my followers my family, and I am always looking for new challenges and interesting content to share with them.”

A recent study by financial platform Crypto Wallet revealed that the most Googled question related to cryptocurrency was, ‘what is cryptocurrency?’ The confusion and uncertainty around the virtual currency have reached an all-time high, meaning Lame’s partnership with Binance couldn’t have come at a better time.

“Khaby has become a cultural icon and one of the most entertaining creators globally,” said James Rothwell, Binance Global Vice President of Marketing. “With so much nuance around Web3 and misinformation in the world, it was a perfect match to have Khaby on board to help debunk some of the myths around this space.”
